You know it. We know it – there’s been a lot of talking about neurodiversity awareness in the workplace over the last few years.
You’ve probably done it. They did it last month. And your team is going to do it again because she’s in a new job starting next week.

All that information and updates.
The problem is that unless it’s acted on, the awareness can be a bit rinse and repeat and leave people vulnerable to awareness fatigue.

And what good is awareness if it doesn’t lead to any action or change, anyway?
Of course, there can be loads of reasons why the awareness doesn’t appear to go anywhere.
It could be the quality of the training, lack of clarity on what behaviour changes are required, existing organisational culture around learning, leadership attitudes to neurodiversity.
Then, there’s the stats around retention of info after training; they are shocking. By the next day, recall is doing well if it’s at about 75%. Within a week, we can only remember 10%.
That means that you could have spent a day of your working life in neurodiversity awareness training (or more if you do awareness training again and again) … for just 10% learning. And we’re not even touching on the financial investment…
But what if I told you that there’s some training that will reinforce your neurodiversity awareness and help you convert it into action?
It’s on offer through us at Neurodiversity Specialists. If you don’t already know, Neurodiversity Specialists is a company committed to changing attitudes and experiences to further neuro-inclusion at work.

To help you decide if it’s the course for you, I’ve included some edits from a Commitment to Action plan, in Blue Peter style, made on a course last year. A previous delegate put this together as one of their unit assessments:
Their priority area was: Proactively consider neuro-inclusion in all people management interactions.
Here’s a couple of snippets of their action plan:

Impressive, hey? This delegate also submitted a little video talk-through to support their whole action plan for when they need to have conversations with senior decision-makers on neuro-inclusion.
