Back in March, we worked with our first full cohort of OCN L3 Neurodiversity: Insight into
Action.

Inclusion

And what an honour and privilege it was for us to work with the learners who had chosen 2
days from their busy week for learning with us.
It was great fun, too.
There we were with HR professionals and EDI Officers, checking in with their existing
neurodiversity awareness and trying to help them make a plan of action out of their insight.

Day 1: we looked at the strengths and challenges of neurodiversity, and its frequent co-
occurrence with other intersectional barriers. All of it was with a focus on workplace impact:
at individual, team and organisational levels.

Day 2: once we’d established this, the learning shifted onto understanding what a best
practice support process might look like, and what the impact of neuro-inclusive practice
could be.

It all had a very practical focus for our learners: to make their own action plan on how to
influence neuro-inclusion in their own workplaces.

Not going to lie, it was full on. The sessions were lively but really intense, as people brought in
their own lived experiences, either as neurodivergent employees or colleagues of
neurodivergent co-workers having difficulties at work.

Latest news is that the learners have completed and submitted their coursework and are not
far off being awarded their L3 certificates.

This is what delegates had to say about it all:
